Pope Francis greets 106-old woman born on Apparition of Mary Day
The Holy Father Pope Francis today morning met with Maria da Conceição Brito Mendonça, who was born on the day of the apparition of Mother Mary of Fatima and a young woman with a worse illness.
He met them before leaving for an Apostolic Journey to the capital of Portugal, at Vasco da Gama Garden, where he planned to confess some young people.
The 106-year-old lady (Maria) was born on May 13, 1917.
The Vatican Information Office has reported and added that, after greeting the woman, he also greeted a young woman named Edna Pina Lopes Rodrigues, who is suffering from a worse illness, whom Pope Francis himself sent a message of love and prayer in June this year.
