Pope Francis reflects on the faith of man, the omnipotence of God’s love

VATICAN: Reflecting John 11:19-27, Pope Francis said that the faith of man and the omnipotence of God’s love seek each other and finally meet.

“In this passage from the Gospel, we see that the faith of man and the omnipotence of God, of God’s love, seek each other and finally meet. It’s like a two-way street: the faith of man and the omnipotence of God’s love seeking each other and finally meeting. We see it in the cry of Martha and Mary and all of us with them. ‘If only you had been there.’ And God’s response is not a speech, no. God’s response to the problem of death is Jesus. “I am the resurrection and the life.” Have faith amidst the tears, continue to have faith, even if death seems to have won.” – Pope Francis noted.

Pope Francis has been consistently sharing reflections to encourage those who are despairing and urge people to return to God by strengthening their relationship with the Heavenly Father.
